At Peccadillo – we’re film through and through. Nothing will ever beat that moment the lights go down in the cinema, and don’t let anyone tell you otherwise! That’s why this summer we’re running a tour of LGBT films in cinemas up and down the UK, to confirm to cinemas that there’s a big, hungry, queer audience out there looking for some superb independent films to watch.
But something you might not realise is the TV stars we’ve had popping up in our films over the years. We affection cinema, but we’re not snobs when it comes to the smaller screen. All of us are guilty of pyjama and take-away Netflix binges, nothing improve sates the soul.
So we reflection we’d give you a speedy rundown &#; for the uninitiated in the smaller screen – a who’s who of who, if you will, in the telly stars who’ve popped up in some of our more outlandish films.

It was tough, not just physically, but the atmosphere on set was like summer camp and it was a lot of entertainment to be with Hanno. German actor Max Riemelt - is he a sister?
I vaguely remember a trivial backlash against him during Sense8 when something homophobic he'd said in an interview was unearthed by a fan. He's probably one of the most visible German actors who've played a gay character and has been deeply interested in queer projects which makes it improbable that he'd be a gigantic homophobe but there's no denying I did feel a bit disappointed. However Germany most definitely is still homophobic in many ways so it's not like I don't get where he's coming from, especially since he seems to be straight.
He's very supportive of gay rights and apparently did an impromptu deep brush with Brian J Smith when filming Sense8 on a Pride float which I doubt a super homophobe would do. Obviously some people hate him for being a straight man playing gay characters and it's very probable the whole homophobia furor was an attempt by one to cancel him.
