The Why Not opens its doors each Friday and Saturday. The relatively small downtown male lover club has been around for many years. It still busts out of its seams each weekend. Expect a hot blackout on the dance floor where all the famous house and dance hits are playing.

"Occident meets Orient and Poland is there too", is how organiser, Sabrina Andersrum, sums up her monthly Balkan clubbing BallCanCan. The criss-cross mixture of guests gyrate to Balkan-Pop and Turbo-Folk.

Vienna has its first Bear & Butch club in the form of the Pitbull. Since its opening in , the Pitbull team has provided sweat-producing beats for that pure testosterone rush.

Diversity Ball

Since , "equalizent" has organized the annual Diversity Ball, a unique festival of joie de vivre and respect for human colorfulness and diversity. Many LGBTIQ+ people in all their different communities come together for a rousing darkness at the ball in the Kursalon Wien, as a sign of the colorful nature of population, for tolerance, accessibility and mutual respect.

A whole week is dedicated to fetish at the end of October as Vienna Fetish Week turns Vienna into a magnet for fetish fans. The highlight of the week is the Vienna in Black weekend, which was established many years ago and offers numerous parties as well as a colorful supporting program.

Anyone who thinks the Viennese waltz is straight stuff is totally wide of the mark. The Rainbow Ball has conquered the classic Viennese ball for LGBTIQ+ people. Festive evening wear is essential here. The ball is held in Parkhotel Schönbrunn. All waltzes and lots of fun!

Join our monthly “Queer Kegelabend”, which is mostly a pure fun event with a slight sportive touch. No previous experience required. Beginners and all genders most welcome! It is our ambition to welcome a broadly diversified crowd! Your own omfortable footwear might contribute to an enjoyable evening.
