Is there enough LGBT Representation in the character customisation and in the game lore? I want to know before buying because I need to support a dev team that is inclusive and supports everyone!

I hope there are romance options, but I'm starting to consider there might not be. From pure guesswork from Dev posts and what others have said, it actually looks like two of the new companions might develop (or have?) a intimacy, and the PC helps sort it out, for good or my main playthrough (the personality I liked most) I romanced Leliana, and I hope she at least has a cameo. If she doesn't, then the better dang well be a good reason why we broke up/she isn't there/she died, otherwise I will be peeved.

If she is there as a cameo and the relationship is still going, naturally I won't partake of any romance. If she is there and we broke up, I might do a romance depending. If she isn't there because somehow she died, I will not do a romance, I will play the heartbroken PC.

So maybe Zev will be there in a similar fashion for you? That would be nice, although there might not be as much interaction. But so far I don't think anyone can say for sure.
