The final stretch of Pride Month is indeed here — and it&#;s moment to salvage what&#;s left of it. If you&#;re planning on partaking in the festivities during the final days of the month, check out our guide of events below. There are several local Self-acceptance events leading up to and on Pride Sunday, which offers two main marches — the Reclaim Pride Coalition&#;s Queer Liberation Pride and Heritage of Pride&#;s NYC Identity March.

NYC Drag March

When: Friday June 24, 7 &#; p.m.

Where: The West Village

Led by The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, the NYC Drag Parade is an annual march the last Friday of Celebration month. The parade starts in Tompkins Square Park and ends in front of the Stonewall Inn.

Love Above All Ball

When: Friday June 24, 9 p.m.

Where: The Rainbow Room, 30 Rockefeller Plaza 65th Floor, New York, NY

NYC Pride Month & March - Live June 26th


June is known as the Pride Month in New York City & the U.S. Throughout the month, the city will host and sponsor several events to observe and honor the LGBTQ+ heritage and community. Did you know that the first March was held in ? Since then this annual event has become a staple in the civil rights demonstration.

This year the Pride Pride Route will be changing starting from 5th Avenue & 25th Street near Madison Square Park. Those looking to participate in the March should be heading down to the formation area north of 25th street before 12 pm.


The Year Route:

  • Down 5th Ave from 25th Road to 8th Street
  • West to 7th Avenue
  • Up on 7th Ave from Christopher to 15th Street
